Lake Cseke
The charming Cseke Lake, which spans 23 hectares and features two small islands, was created behind an artificial embankment using the waters of once-abundant springs. Due to the karst water extraction from nearby mines in the 1960s, the springs that fed the lake largely dried up, causing the water level to rapidly decline. To save the lake, water was pumped in from the Old Lake. The lake is a true paradise for anglers, with fishermen waiting for a bite along its entire length, surrounded by majestic plane trees and weeping willows that hang over the water.
The entire English Park is interwoven with delightful little paths, and the ever-green lawns, magnificent plane trees, and weeping willows exude incredible tranquility.
