Walking Trail at Bath Fényes
The Fényes Educational Trail, which can be visited year-round, even in the off-season, is an eco-tourism route that stretches 1.5 kilometers and features forty-three stations showcasing the natural treasures of the area in an interactive way. It is both an informative and entertaining tourist attraction where visitors can admire the stunning wildlife of the karst springs. The trail is complemented by exhibitions and activities at the visitor center that present the local flora and fauna. The eco-tourism trail in Tata is an ideal destination for families and tourists interested in active relaxation.
The karst springs of the marshy meadows and wetlands were depleted by mining activities by 1973; however, after mining ceased in the early 2000s, the springs began to flow again. The springs produce slightly carbonated water with a temperature of 20-22°C. This area is home to unique plant communities and wildlife.
